In 1985, the Gonzalez family opened Carnicería Vallarta, a small market in Van Nuys, California. With a passion for quality and a commitment to serving their community, they focused on selling traditional cuts of meats popular in their native Mexico. What started as a humble neighborhood butcher shop would eventually grow into a regional powerhouse in food distribution and retail.
